Dr. Chamberlin is a Toledo native and has spent 50 of his 51 years as a resident of Ohio. He graduated from the University of Toledo in 1973 and Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1976 with honors. He then spent an optional year doing a dental residency at Denver General Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Before his private practice became too busy, he was on staff at the Medical College of Ohio and taught part-time in their Dental Residency Program. He has owned a practice in the Toledo area since 1976.
Dr. Chamberlin is a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, the Toledo Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry and the International College of Oral Implantologists. He has studied with many of the most renowned dental educators in the country and spends many hours each year pursuing continuing education to stay abreast of the latest dental technologies.
Dr. Chamberlin and his wife Janet have two sons, Neil (b.1984) and Owen (b.1988). They have lived in Perrysburg since their marriage in 1981. Dr. Chamberlin enjoys many hobbies such as fishing, skiing, gardening and golf. Janet is a Colorado native and they spend much of their vacation time there.
Dr. Walkup is a native of West Unity, Ohio. He attended the University of Toledo prior to transferring to Ohio State University. He graduated Cum Laude from the Ohio State University, College of Dentistry. Shea spent an optional year in San Antonio, Texas completing intensive advanced education in general dentistry at the Audie L. Murphy Memorial Veterans Hospital on the campus of the University of Texas Health Science Center.
Dr. Walkup is certified to provide intravenous sedation, thus allowing him to provide patients with a very high degree of comfort and anxiety control. Dr. Walkup has also received countless hours of training in state-of-the-art dental implant treatments.
Dr. Walkup is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, The Texas Academy of General Dentistry, the Ohio Academy of General Dentistry, the Toledo Dental Society, and the Ohio Dental Association.
Dr. Walkup and his wife, Stephanie, live in Holland, Ohio. They enjoy spending their time with family and friends. They also enjoy golf, jogging, biking, hiking and basketball. Shea loves watching Ohio State football and basketball.
