Porcelain Veneers

before

after
Porcelain veneers are a thin shell of porcelain that is bonded to the front surface of a tooth to cover stains, reshape a tooth, realign a tooth, and/or whiten a tooth. When veneers are properly done, the teeth look and feel totally natural in a patient's mouth.

This patient wanted whiter, straighter teeth. The before picture shows here teeth with her lips pulled back (or retracted) out of the way so we could get a good picture of the entire mouth.

In the after picture, you can see her new smile after porcelain veneers were placed on both the upper and lower teeth. Her new smile is whiter, straighter, and more even.

Also note that her back teeth have not been treated yet. They are going to be treated with porcelain crowns (see ALL PORCELAIN CROWNS) that will match the color and shape of her front teeth. This will further enhance her new smile.
